Jericho Café and Tavern located in picturesque Jericho Vermont is a farm to table restaurant that offers high quality food and a good time. Jericho Café and Tavern, also known as JCat, is located on route 15 in a renovated farmhouse that offers a charming dining experience. JCat strives to welcome locals and travelers alike. Their menu consists of comfort foods with a Vermont twist. My personal favorite lunch item is the Vermont grilled cheese with Cabot cheddar cheese, caramelized apples & bacon Jam. As for dinner they offer two dishes that make my inner foodie senses tingle: pan seared scallops with butternut squash risotto, brussel sprouts, crispy prosciutto & amoretti crumbs and mac & cheese with Vermont ham, sugar pumpkin & maple smoked Gouda. For me, JCat is a necessity and certainly worth the drive. They offer intimate dining for date nights and they are also kid friendly (they have a full kids menu and children’s reading section). And if you don't have time to stay for a meal you won't regret stopping and grabbing a sweet treat and a coffee. Here are some pictures from our lunch at The Jericho Café and Tavern.
