Recipes to Try: Apple Cider Muffins with Maple Glaze
A couple of weeks ago I came across a recipe on King Arthur Flour for apple cider doughnuts with a maple glaze. An apple cider doughnut paired with a cup of coffee makes for a perfect fall breakfast. I opted for the muffin version of this recipe and I'm glad I did. The muffins were light, moist and full of apple cider goodness. Beckett rearranged our thermos cabinet while I made the muffins and we took a quick nap break while the muffins were cooling. Quick tip: I used Vermont maple syrup for the glaze and still added maple flavoring to really give the glaze a strong maple flavor. You can find the recipe here. Enjoy!
